Conventions Of an Opening Sequence

There are many different conventions of an opening sequence. All films/movies always give the
audience clues so as to guess what will happen next. They also love to make an effect on the audience's thinking depending on the purpose and genre of the film/movie. Most opening sequences, mainly those for Thriller films/movies, use very low key lighting to create tension and embrace the kind of setting and location of the film/movie.
