Comparing a trailer and opening sequence of a film.

The film I chose to compare trailers and opening sequences was TRON Legacy. 


The trailer uses different images form the film to promote to the audience the action and any other themes throughout the film. 





The opening sequence is very different as it is mainly a peacful introduction to the characters. The title of the film is viewed in between two skyscrapers sideways and rotates clockwise 90 degrees as if the view is from a jetplane's cockpit and it is flying through the city.
