Opening title sequence genre 2 [Psycho IV]

This title sequence is very jumpy and builds a lot of tension which also creates a mysterious atmosphere. There is very sinister music which adds to the tension and makes the audience ask the question; What will happen? There are short different shots in between each title of maybe someones life and everything that goes right or wrong in it. A quick shot to a clock may suggest that time is running out for someone or that someone is late for something. Another quick shot to a shower plug with blood pouring down it may suggest that someone has been murdered and the murderer is cleaning the blood off the weapon. A quick shot to a cake being iced may suggest that it is either someone's wedding and that it will be "A day to remember" so they say. The titles are plain white text which may suggest that there "is a small light in the darkness" in the murderers life and that it not defeating the darkness. The Film titles itself appears first white and solid, but then seems to crack or shatter and change to red font which again could suggest that a murder has or will take place. The audience then asks the questions about who is being/has been murdered? and why have they have been murdered?
